01 · THE CONDITION

Early recognition and treatment can change the long-term outcome for a child.

A treatable condition
should not become a
lifelong disability.

Clubfoot is a condition in which a baby's foot is turned inward and downward. It is present at birth and needs timely specialist care.

The original DWS information highlights that, without proper treatment, clubfoot can lead to lifelong disability. With early and appropriate care, children can develop normal mobility and participate in everyday life.
